The World is a Mess

My last documented moments here were just before my world ceased to exist as it had before. COVID-19 reached the US and began to shut down everything. I did not know then, on March 14, just how drastically my life would change over the course of the next few months. There was a lot of anxiety, many walks, a wedding for Bugg, new and old friends showing up, strange rules about who I could see and how far apart we needed to be, and a major surgery.. The world still hasn’t returned to ‘normal’ and I’m not sure she ever will. But I’m thankful to be healthy, to have moments of hope in the midst of the chaos, and to have made it this far.
