We spent a sunny Saturday celebrating 90 years of a remarkable woman. Our matriarch, our role model, and a guiding light for all of us. What a treasure it is to know her and love her.

As we celebrate ninety years of life for a remarkable woman, we are not just honoring the passage of time, but also the incredible and living legacy she has built through the years. As her family, we get to be a part of that living legacy, and we find threads of her in each of us.

She and Angela both show love through food. We see her sense of adventure in Joseph and her deep care for those around her in Suzanne and Maureen. Emma and Tom embody her love of family. Claire shares her knack for making ordinary moments special, and we see her love of the outdoors in John and Andrew. Her creativity carries on in Caroline, and her commitment to the service of others in Marty and Jack. Even in the newest and smallest addition to the family, little Jude, we see her perseverance through even the hardest times.

Carol’s life is a testament to the strength of family and faith, and her influence continues to guide and inspire us every day. As we gather to celebrate this milestone, we are reminded of the immense gift it is to see even the smallest reflection of her in each of us. What a treasure it is to know her and love her.
